Apple launches 'digital booklet' for iTunes albums

Apple is scheduled to add interactive music albums to its iTunes Applications Store next month, with features like lyrics, behind-the-scenes images and exclusive artwork, The Washington Post reported Monday.
The move may further endanger the declining CD industry, since iTunes would be providing “extras already found on CDs.”
"It will be an interactive element; a digital booklet that will take you into the videos and content," said Liz Goodwin, Polydor product manager, according to TechRadar.
Apple is releasing the application in time for the release of Snow Patrol’s “A Hundred Million Suns” album, and intends to add the feature to more albums in the future, according to The Washington Post.
